This project was designed for a rapidly growing local data office. The owners wanted a space that would reflect the office culture, exhibiting dynamic space and color. The budget for the project was minimal, but the design was approached with an attitude of best utilizing standard materials such as drywall, metal panel and solid core wood doors. This approach allowed for many special moments including custom furniture, custom doors and wall graphics. The conference glass super-graphic incorporated the zip codes of their client base, making it a way to screen the space for semi-privacy. The project also came in under budget, which allowed for the design of a custom conference table fabricated out of pipe steel and glass.
This project was awarded a National American Institute of Architects (AIA) Design Award for Interiors, as well as Regional and State AIA Design Awards, Interior Design Magazine named this project as its winner for 2010 Best of Year: Small Office. It has been published in multiple national periodicals including Architectural Record and Interior Design.
