MNM is designed for a family of four in a small mid-Nebraska town. Located within a housing development with minimal covenants, the client wanted a home to reflect their modern viewpoints, and one which will look nothing like the adjacent houses. Upper level consists of the daily activities of gathering, eating, and entertaining, while the lower level affords privacy for sleeping due to the grade changes over the site. Recycled materials will be used throughout including salvaged storefront windows and gym floors from demolished small town gymnasiums around the area.
