CoMind

CoMind is an installation into a local museum which serves as a backdrop to various performances. The project is design build, built by AToM and University of Nebraska College of Architecture students as part of a day long event focusing on science and design.

The design uses an initial smooth spline torus form which was modified, translated into a polysurface, and finally unrolled to a flat triangulated pattern. The piece is made from recycled cardboard and a specialized, temporary, proprietary fastener.
