10333 Residence is a renovation and addition to a 1950’s concrete block house in Omaha, NE. The design extends the existing square footage by adding a small addition to the upper level which enlarges the master suite. To tie the new work into the existing, as well in an effort to add more life to the exterior, a new rain screen wraps the part of the existing house and extends onto the new addition. Entrance to the front and rear of the house is defined through the use of a new wood and steel trellis which assists in transitioning between interior and exterior.
